Gameplay

The traditional one-vs-thousands musou combat experience, enhanced. Take on the role of famous generals in the Chinese Three Kingdoms period, hack your way through vast hordes of foot soldiers, and challenge powerful generals. The remaster improves movement controls, weapons, lock-on system, and keeps existing features such as bodyguards, loot grinding, horseback double-riding, and split screen co-op.

Story

The game is set during the tumultuous period of the Three Kingdoms which is based on the historical novel of the same name. The campaign pits the factions of Shu, Wei and Wu against each other in a bid to become ruler of the ancient Chinese continent. Players relive historical campaigns through various legendry locations including the Hulao Gate, Changban and Chi Bi. The remaster features all of the original faction campaigns and has also retained all the character storylines added when the original Xtreme Legends was released.
