The first trailer for the asymmetric horror game to be based around the Halloween film franchise has just dropped, revealing the title “Halloween: The Game.” It is being developed by IllFonic and will be available to both the PC and the consoles and should be set to be played against either another player taking the role of Michael Myers or working alongside other players to survive their attacker in a frightening 1v4 match set against the backdrop of Haddonfield. Gameplay
Official website states “Halloween: The Game is a 1v4 asymmetrical horror game. One player controls Michael Myers also known as the Boogeyman, while the other four players must work together to survive and escape his grasp.” “The game’s multiplayer centers around the tense experience of stalking, escaping, surviving, and working together as survivors, or outmaneuvering victims as Michael Myers. The game is inspired by the 1978 film.”
Story
The game will be based on John Carpenter’s Halloween. This means instead of an actual single player game with a story… rather it will be an 80’s style style player-versus-player game where either you will be Michael Myers, or you and friends will play as the victims looking for “the face of evil.”
